- Session #8 â Anxiety, and Downward Dog
- Session #9 â Volunteer Leadership, and the Ice cream Truck!
About Each Session:
Coaching Session #7 – The Necklace, the Dark Side, and the Falling Earphone
Session length: 48 minutes.
The focus for this session is relatable to so many; how to not project fear or negative thoughts into the future. In this session, client is exploring what shifts her from a generally positive state of mind, to dramatizing thoughts (which client calls the negative side / dark thoughts).
Coach observes client is wearing a necklace that has symbology for the client, which contributes to client awareness in this session. An incident occurs with client earphones that also contributes to client awareness, and post-session actions.
Hereâs a sample from session 7, so you hear our voices and can get a sense of whether you are interested in listening to these sessions :-).
This is 9 minutes, 04 seconds of the 48 minute coaching session:
Here’s an example Core Competency Worksheet (CCW) from Session one; there’s a CCW for every coaching session.
Coaching Session #8 â Anxiety, and Downward Dog
Session length: 51 minutes.
This is a very relatable topic for many; dealing with projection of anxious thoughts about something in the future. In this session, the somatic field (body knowledge) is explored, along with the body-mind connection. Coach inquires into client knowledge about herself practicing a yoga pose called âdownward dogâ which supports the client to find ways to work with her anxious thoughts.
Coaching Session #9 â Volunteer Leadership, and the Ice cream Truck!
Session length: 54 minutes.
In this session, the client explores how to engage with 5 other co-founders of a volunteer organization, and to move beyond feeling good about being involved, to doing the work.
This is a relatable topic to many; having inspiration, starting something, then finding others arenât donât seem as committed as you are because youâre doing more work than them, and end up taking on more responsibility than you want to. How to communicate with peers in a way that is authentic, respectful, and produces shared understanding of the role of each individual and a commitment to sharing more of the work. Thereâs an ice cream truck involved too. 😊
